Privacy Policy

TetherPrime operates https://tetherprime.com, a service that returns to you most of the affiliate commission a cryptocurrency exchange pays us on your trading volume. We are not an exchange, we do not hold your funds, and we do not execute trades.

Information you give us:

• —Your email address.
• —A password, stored only as a scrypt hash. We never store or see the password itself.
• —Your exchange account UID — a public account number, not a credential.
• —Your language preference.

Information the exchange gives us about your account:

• —Trading volume attributed to your UID.
• —Commission the exchange paid us for that volume.
• —The invite code your account registered under, and its verification status.

Information generated by using the service:

• —Session records: a hash of your session token, creation time, last-seen time, expiry.
• —One-time verification codes, stored as hashes with an attempt counter and expiry.
• —Security events: that a password was changed, and when.
• —Ledger entries and withdrawal records: amounts, dates, status, and the exchange transfer id.

We do not ask for and never receive exchange API keys, trading permissions, your exchange password, or two-factor codes. We do not collect identity documents. We do not store your IP address in our database, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

• —To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
• —To match your exchange UID against the affiliate report so we know what you are owed.
• —To calculate, record, and pay your rebates.
• —To detect and limit abuse — for example, limiting verification code attempts, and holding withdrawals for a period after a password change.
• —To send transactional email you need in order to use the service.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email.

We use a small number of providers to run the service:

• —Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
• —Neon — the managed PostgreSQL database where your records are stored.
• —Resend — sending verification and account email.
• —MEXC — the exchange. We send your UID to look up commission attributed to it, and to transfer rebates to it.

We disclose data to others only if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to investigate fraud or protect the service.

Ledger and withdrawal records are kept for as long as we are required to keep financial records, and are not deleted when an account is closed — they are the record of money that moved. Session records and verification codes are short-lived and are removed after they expire or are used.

• —You can change your password at any time from your account page.
• —You can unlink or stop using the service at any time; your exchange account is unaffected.
• —You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account, by writing to support@tetherprime.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data, including the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.

Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Session tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes, so a copy of our database cannot be used to sign in as you. Withdrawal processing runs on separate infrastructure from the website, and the credential that can move funds is never present in the web application.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, change your password immediately — doing so ends every other session and holds withdrawals for a period.

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you by email.
